Home & Library

This screen decides what the two screens you open most are made of: how the Library lays titles out, which sections Home shows and in what order, whose viewing builds the Recommended shelf, and which actions sit on a media card.

Library grid

Library grid is a switch, on by default. On, the Library is a grid of posters. Off, it is a list, which fits more titles on screen and gives each one room for a subtitle.

The same preference sits behind the grid and list button in the Library and Calendar toolbars, so flipping it there changes this switch too.

At the largest accessibility text sizes the grid gives way to a list whatever this switch says. A poster grid cannot hold text that size without cropping it.

Show Server Warnings

Show Server Warnings is a switch, on by default. Its note says what it covers: “Show server health warnings in Home’s Needs attention section. Server errors and download errors remain visible.”

Turning this off quietens the health checks a service runs on itself — an indexer it could not reach last night, a download client it thinks is misconfigured. It does not hide a service Managerr cannot reach, and it does not hide a failed download. Those stay in Needs attention either way.

Hide Prowlarr history in Activity

Hide Prowlarr history in Activity is a switch, off by default. Its note: “Prowlarr logs every RSS sync and search. Its own tools still show the full history.”

A busy Prowlarr writes a history row every few minutes, which is enough to bury everything Sonarr, Radarr and Lidarr recorded in the same window. Turn this on and the Activity page keeps the rest; nothing is deleted, and Prowlarr still has the whole log.

Arrange Home

Arrange Home opens a list of the nine Home sections, each with a switch and a drag handle. Switch one off to drop it, or drag it to move it. This is the order they ship in.

The footer reads “Drag to reorder sections. Empty sections stay out of your way.” A section with nothing in it is not drawn, so there is no gap and no empty heading to scroll past — you do not need to switch off Requests because you have no Seerr service.

Recommendations

Recommendations opens a screen whose content depends on what you have connected.

No Seerr service

“Add a Seerr service to see recommendations. Managerr asks it for titles like the ones already watched.” There is nothing to configure until one is connected.

Seerr, but no Tautulli

Managerr has no play history to read, so it suggests titles like the ones your Sonarr, Radarr and Lidarr libraries already monitor.

Both

A Base suggestions on picker offering Everyone or a named Tautulli user, and a Watch history from row naming which Tautulli the plays are read from.

Everyone is the default. A shared server blends a household’s tastes into a shelf that matches none of them, so it is worth naming yourself here — but Managerr cannot know which of the names on the server is yours, and will not guess.

Show Media Controls

Show Media Controls opens three switches — Monitor, Search and Reminder — all on by default. Its note: “Choose which actions appear on media cards. Search and Reminder apply to Calendar releases. Hiding Reminder keeps your existing reminders.”

These hide the buttons, not the abilities. A title you can no longer monitor from a card can still be monitored from its own page, and a reminder you set before hiding the control still fires.
