Widgets, Shortcuts, iPad & Mac
Add Home Screen widgets, open Managerr with Shortcuts, and use the larger iPad and Mac layouts.
Add a widget
Open Managerr and refresh your connected services first. On iPhone or iPad, edit the Home Screen, open the widget gallery and search for Managerr. Choose a widget and size, then add it.

What a widget knows
Widgets display the last snapshot saved by Managerr. They do not hold API credentials or contact your servers. Check the update time before treating a queue or playback session as current.
Open Managerr and let its refresh finish when a widget looks stale. Settings → General → Background App Refresh also allows background updates while the device is unlocked, but the operating system chooses when they run. It is not a fixed update schedule.
Empty content can mean the connected services have no relevant activity. Playing Now needs Tautulli; the queue and upcoming releases need a connected media manager. Demo snapshots are marked as demo content.
Shortcuts and Siri
In Apple’s Shortcuts app, search for Managerr actions. Open Managerr View offers Home, Queue, Calendar and Requests. Search Media in Managerr takes a search phrase and opens the app to search your connected libraries.
The provided shortcuts are Open Home, Open Queue, Open Calendar, Open Requests and Search Media. For example, ask Siri to “Open my queue in Managerr”. Requests opens the destination labelled Seerr in the app.
These actions open Managerr to the chosen view or search. They do not run unattended downloads, imports or approvals.
iPad and Mac
On a wider layout, the sidebar lists Home, Library, Calendar, Activity and Seerr, followed by the service filter and Settings. Choose All Services or a named service to narrow the content. Compact windows can use the smaller navigation layout.
The iPad app also runs on Apple silicon Macs. With a hardware keyboard, Command-comma opens Settings. Configuration stays on each device. Set up services separately or transfer them with a passphrase-protected backup.
