Services

Add, edit, enable, copy and remove your saved services. Each connection has its own address and credentials.

Your saved services

Open Settings → Services. Each row shows the name you chose, its service type and an enable switch. Tap the name to open Edit Service. Use Add a Service below the list to connect another server.

You can connect several instances of the same service. Use names such as “Movies · Home” and “Movies · 4K” so you can tell them apart when choosing a server or reviewing an action.

Enable or disable a service

New services are enabled by default. Turn the switch off to exclude a service from normal refreshes and combined views while keeping its saved configuration and credentials. Turn it on when you want to use it again. This switch does not stop the server.

The service filter narrows what you see to a particular server. Select All Services to return to the combined view of enabled services.

Edit or copy a connection

  1. Tap a service row, or press and hold it and choose Edit Service.
  2. Change the name, address, API key or custom headers. The saved service type cannot be changed.
  3. Tap Test Service, then Save. Changes after a successful test require another test.

Press and hold a row and choose Copy Service to start a new connection with the same fields and credentials. Its name ends in “ Copy”. Update the name, address and key for the new server, then test and save. The copy becomes a separate service.

Remove a service

Press and hold its row, choose Remove Service and confirm. Managerr removes the connection, its credentials, cached information and reminders from this device. Your remote server and media files stay intact.

Exported backups can still contain the removed service. See Backup and Reset if you also want to manage those files.

Credentials and demo mode

Service names and addresses are saved locally. API keys and custom header values are protected by device-only Keychain entries and do not sync. A manual backup with a passphrase can include these credentials in encrypted form.

In demo mode, tapping a service opens its detail screen. The add, edit, copy, remove and enable controls for your real connections are unavailable until you leave the demo.
